As a trained economist and gastronome, I conduct research in the Agricultural Economics and Policy Group at ETH Zurich on how dynamics within the food system influence farmers’ decision-making, with a particular focus on crop protection. I combine behavioral economic approaches with quantitative methods to analyze how value chain characteristics shape the crop protection strategies implemented on farms. The aim of my research is to generate evidence that supports policymakers in designing agricultural policies that address the needs of farmers while enabling a transition toward greater sustainability.

At the World Food System Center (WFSC) at ETH Zurich, I also work as a Research and Education Manager, where I contribute to the development and coordination of interdisciplinary initiatives on sustainable food systems. In this role, I support exchange between academia, practice, and policy to advance evidence-based solutions for food system transformation.
