Jean-François Trinquecoste is Professor Emeritus (University of Bordeaux). He is also President of the Institute for the Analysis and Forecasting of Societal, Economic and Managerial Trends (IAPTSEM), a professor at the Business Science Institute (BSI), a researcher at the Institute for Research in Organisational Management (IRGO) and Chair of the Scientific Council at Excelia Business School. He is an Officer of the Order of Academic Palms.

A qualified lecturer in Management Sciences, holder of a Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (HDR), Doctor of Management Sciences and graduate of the ESC Bordeaux Group (now Kedge), he also studied philosophy at the University of Bordeaux III (now Michel Montaigne University).
