Victor Moreaud is co-owner and co-manager of Les Joualles de Cormeil-Figeac, a family-owned wine estate that he took over with his sister in 2009. Trained as a landscape architect, he is now responsible for the vineyard and wine development.

Deeply committed to biodiversity and soil health, he and his sister have undertaken a major transformation of the estate, including conversion to organic farming, a reduction of more than 40% in input use, and the planting of trees and flowers throughout the vineyard. The estate also conducts agroecological experiments in collaboration with scientific research teams.

Drawing on the ancestral joualles system, which combines vines, trees and other crops, Victor Moreaud promotes a diverse and resilient approach to viticulture, seeking new balances between agricultural production, environmental sustainability and wine quality.
